xHibit: WEARABLE MICRO-GALLERY / SCREEN SUIT
RCA Project. Tate Modern, London.
Summer 2005
This experiment originates in the idea to exhibit some friends work in famous galleries. The only way to do that was to literally wear the gallery. I thought that, since no one can kick me out when I wear a Picasso t-shirt in the Tate, I could as well show some friends work on a wearable screen.

After successfully showing the work of two photographers from Berlin and a Norwegian Poet on the 7th floor of Tate Modern, the project was extended into more public spaces such as Waterloo station. What will we be showing when screen do become wearable one day? Will we be all digital sandwich men or can we express ourselves more accurately and more instant if we have the moving image on our shirt?
